ABOUT ME
Hello!
My work explores imperfections in detail in the human figure, as most of my work is centered on people and relationships. More specifically, my family - the people that have had the most impact in shaping who I am as a person, and as an artist.
I work with many types of mediums including oil and acrylic paints, markers and colored pencils, clay, video work, etc. Using all these mediums, my purpose stays relatively consistent with realistic intent. I find details in the human form fascinating, as well as depicting real-life situations like special milestones or even seemingly unimportant everyday moments. I want my viewer to enjoy what they are seeing in my work and hopefully feel a sense of connection and understanding, or even just a feeling of comfort in the portrayal of recognizable relationships.
