The 2019 Senior Thesis was in full swing after many hours hunched over canvases and an unhealthy amount of coffee later...
My "Legends of the Mundane" project was based on the idea that many basic life lessons seem to be lost in today's younger generation. The subjects of my paintings (from left to right) include my grandmother, Mary, my father, my mother, and our good family friend from Canada, Tramp Warner. Each of these "Legends" recorded audio of their stories and words of wisdom that the viewers could listen to in pairing with the portraits.
